Here’s a few comments from the "Vote" long text I'd like to share

“Should have done this along time ago every year we lose something, there is no end”
“It was my goal for years to get with the top operation company on the slope. I finally get the job and think I'm set and have a career! Now I feel like its turning into a job and I may have to start looking if we don’t bring in someone to represent on our behalf. We have no voice anymore.”
“I've never really thought about the union much. After what they've done, I'm thinking a lot now.”
“Thank you for setting this up. We need to not let it die, we need to push this through.”
“This is the beginning to the end, the company is setting the stage to replace COP hourly employees with contingent workers. If we don’t stand together now, we will be training our replacements.”
You guys get it! Whittling away our benefits, turning our ‘life long careers’ into ‘stepping stones to somewhere better’, stealing our voice and replacing us with contingent workers they can abuse without consequences. We’re preaching to the choir here and that’s OK, but there’s tool buddies out there that haven’t seen the light. Educate them, make them understand what they’ll lose, and how we can keep everyone’s name protected. EDUCATE THEM, they will convince themselves once they have the facts.
Oh, and regarding the comment about “once guys in XXXX group see this, they’ll rat us out to management”. That is OK. I’m sure this has or will be leaked to management, management info gets leaked back to us too. Any half-assed PsychOps campaign has to anticipate ‘leaks’, and this isn’t a half-assed campaign; we’re full-assed into this and gaining ground. We discussed this elsewhere, but leaks are the reason we won't go into some specifics about our day to day happenings. So let me be the first to welcome our boss Pat and AK VP Ed to www.uniononthenorthslope.org. Hey, if you guys get fired for making us go union email us- we can be a job reference for you when you apply for a job at one of our “North Slope peers”... like Doyon.
