Myth- If we try to go union they’ll cut our pay or cancel our VCIP.

Nope. The NLRA prohibits this in Section 7 & 8. The company has already told us in writing and via a slide show (which they conveniently “couldn’t record for legal reasons”) that we’ll be part of the company wide raises in March and the VCIP. We might, just maybe, know how to get copies of all those slides…oops. So if suddenly we’re not eligible for raises like all the townies, or we’re not eligible for the VCIP, guess what we are eligible for? A slam dunk class action lawsuit.
If they retaliate, we retaliate with the law on our side and the media in our corner. Besides- we’re the little guys, the underdog workin’ man, and they’re Big Oil and I’ve never known a news network to miss a chance to kick Big Oil in the nuts. “Big Oil Revokes Workers Raises Due to Union Dust-up but Assures Wallstreet Solid Returns” is a headline that almost writes itself.
Got questions? We've got answers- email us your concerns and we'll get to the bottom of it.
Sat in 3 of the comp meetings, interestingly enough the pay changed on 2 out of the three, was there any mention that there had been changes to the slides ….. nope
