They lied to our faces, then screwed us.

We had an uproar about a year ago with HR and management over changes to our pay checks and PTO. We briefly discussed some form of collective bargaining, we talked about cordial meetings with management. We got sweet talked into workforce engagement- let me ask you: How many of our top priorities for workforce engagement have improved in the last year? How many have we been told are going to get worse?
They stalled, bought time, lied directly to our faces, slipped us a pathetic pay increase to calm us down ( after letting our wages stagnant by over 10% in the last 5 years)… and then they did this. We took a solid fucking on this one.
All the “but you have a voice, talk with us, meet with your supervisors, bring your issues to workforce engagement” was 100% bullshit.
In the perfect words of George W Bush- "Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again".
You have no voice on your own, UnionOnTheNorthSlope.org is your pathway to finding your voice. Together we can yell so loud they'll hear us in Houston.
